Yes, it's true. Facebook in partneship with Warner Bros. will soon launch movie for rent right on facebook. This feature will be availalbe on US only. If successful, this will be available to all countries around the globe.
There are some issues on this, how it will affect other movie for rent companies and the movie industry considering that facebook has billions of members. Netflix and Ipad are making countermeasures. This facebook new feature will surely affect in the industry.
It's awesome, for as low as $3 dollars, you can rent a movie directly on facebook. Members have option to use virtual credits to rent a movie.
